A dynamic, detail-oriented professional with experience working across communications disciplines, Leah is dedicated to ensuring all communications efforts are seamlessly integrated to drive business results. During her in-house tenure within the pharmaceutical and science education industries, Leah applied her passion for science and strategic communications to streamline complex information into clear, cohesive messaging.
Prior to joining Boardwalk Public Relations, Leah led marketing communications for the Science Education Division at VWR International – managing public relations, social media, trade show and event management, marketing programs, advertising, and community outreach. Leah also served as Chief of Staff for the division’s senior leadership team and collaborated with Human Resources on employee engagement initiatives.
In her Brand Corporate Affairs roles at AstraZeneca, Leah developed and executed integrated, results-driven PR programs for the cardiovascular and oncology therapeutic areas. She protected brand reputation via strategic issues management, crafted communications for brand milestone announcements, provided counsel for senior leaders, and led program management for multicultural patient education initiatives and disease-state awareness campaigns.
As part of the Marketing Services function at Endo Pharmaceuticals, Leah partnered with cross-functional teams to orchestrate all stages of promotional materials from creation to fulfillment for two simultaneous product launches. She also was the project lead on two teams charged with transitioning the material review process to an electronic system.
Leah holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in Communications from the University of Delaware. She enjoys baking, sports and traveling, but finds the most joy in watching her daughter explore the world.
